Episode 23: Gurunam Atwal (Born in 3HO 1989; Eugene, OR)

Gurunam Atwal was born and raised into 3HO in Eugene, Oregon in 1989.  Her parents are Sarbjit Singh Atwal, a Punjabi Sikh who was raised on a farm in the Punjab and her mother, Simrit Khalsa, who joined 3HO in her early 20s while taking Kundalini Yoga classes in Seattle.

Gurunam and her brother Hargobind Atwal, both attended Miri Piri Academy for several years.  During summer breaks, she worked at the 3HO owned, Golden Temple Enterprises as a temp worker.

After graduating MPA, she attended the University of Oregon in International Studies with a focus on Peace and Conflict Resolution.  She did modeling for Kundalini Research Institute at this time as well, so you may recognize her from some Kundalini Yoga manuals.

In 2018 became a flight attendant for Alaska Airlines and currently lives in Alaska.
